Quote from head baseball coach Shelby Dixon:
- "Huston is someone who I admire and am extremely proud to have had in the Olivet family the last four years. He worked his tail off, battled through adversity, reinvented himself as a player and when he was given his shot this year, he made the most of it. He turned himself into the most reliable and consistent bullpen pitcher during our season and that is strictly because he did the work and earned every bit of that success. I could not be happier for him. Huston was a leader in every sense of the word, showcasing a strong work ethic, unbreakable spirit and a compassion and support for others which is rare. He was a thoughtful, intelligent young man who represented our program well and I am thankful for the time I spent in the trenches with him."
Editor's Note: The COVID-19 pandemic caused the abrubt end to winter and spring sports for the 2019-20 academic year. We are not able to host Senior Day ceremonies to thank these seniors for their dedication to their chosen sport. As a result, we will be posting senior salutes like above for each senior over the coming weeks.
