- The Golden Wolves sent 12 batters to the plate and scored eight runs in the first inning. Alvernia added four runs in the second inning.
- The Comets pushed across two unearned runs in the fourth inning.
- The Golden Wolves plated five runs in the fifth inning.
- Alvernia capped the scoring with a single tally in the sixth inning and five runs in the seventh.
- Olivet was limited to six hits.
- Senior Riley Bennett, sophomore Matt Hewitt and junior John Kortz each hit a double.
- Sophomore Casey Huizenga was the losing pitcher. He was the starting pitcher and gave up eight runs on five hits in the first inning.
- Four relief finished the game on the mound.
- Alvernia recorded 18 hits.
- Brandon Smith was 3-for-4 with three RBI.
- Justin Ayala scored five runs from the leadoff spot in the lineup.
- Nick Nutile had two hits, scored twice and drove in three runs.
- Brian Kane earned the pitching win. He yielded the two runs over seven innings.
