The Olivet College baseball team fell to NCAA Division I foe Eastern Michigan University, 15-1, this afternoon at Oestrike Stadium in Ypsilanti.

The Olivet College baseball team fell to NCAA Division I foe Eastern Michigan University, 15-1, this afternoon at Oestrike Stadium in Ypsilanti.
Olivet junior Brandon Goodman (Portage/Central) broke up the shutout with a home run over the leftfield fence in the eighth inning. He finished with two of the Comets' five hits. Senior Ed O'Brien (Stockbridge) was the losing pitcher.
Olivet will complete a four-game Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association series Saturday when Calvin College visits Olivet for a doubleheader, starting at 1 p.m.
