Kreiner wins individual title at AHBA Conference Championship, Comets place eighth and fifth
MONROE, Mich. – Junior Brandon Kreiner captured the individual title to lead the Olivet College men’s bowling team at the American Heartland Bowling Association Conference Championship, held today at the Monroe Sports Center. As a team, the Comet men placed eighth. The Olivet women were fifth.

MONROE, Mich. – Junior Brandon Kreiner captured the individual title to lead the Olivet College men's bowling team at the American Heartland Bowling Association Conference Championship, held today at the Monroe Sports Center. As a team, the Comet men placed eighth. The Olivet women were fifth.
Final Result: Men – 8th of 12 varsity teams; women – 5th of 8 varsity teams

Format: 5 regular games, 12 baker games
- Olivet finished with a 6,764 total – 4,509 pins over the five regular games and 2,255 pins over the 12 baker games.
- Kreiner totaled 1,192 pins to best 74 other bowlers and beat the runner-up finisher by 15 pins. He saved his best game for the last, as he rolled a tournament-high 279. His other four game scorers were 228, 213, 248 and 224.
- Freshman Connor Cameron finished 29th, averaging 180.6 pins. His best game was a 192.
- Junior Evan Warner placed 37th with a 167.8 average. His high game was a 200.
- Olivet totaled 6,356 pins – 4,290 over the five regular games and 2,066 pins over the 12 baker games.
- Sophomore Isabell Young was 10th of 46 bowlers, with a 193.0 average. Her best game was a 225 in her final game.
- Junior Denise Bryce posted the 15th-best score, averaging 185.0 pins. She tallied Olivet's best score with a 212 in her second game.
- Sophomore Amber Ralston placed 20th with a 173.6 average, including a high game of 192 pins.
- Olivet returns to the lanes next Saturday, February 12, at the Scotty Classic. The event is taking place at Jax 60 in Jackson.
