The University of Olivet track & field teams garner All-Academic Team status from USTFCCCA

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The University of Olivet men's and women's track and field team were named to the 2023-24 United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team.

Under the leadership of head coach Karen Lutzke, the Olivet women have posted a 3.51 cumulative grade point average (GPA), while the men had a 3.14 GPA. To earn the team recognition, a team must have a cumulative team GPA of all student-athletes who used a season of eligibility must be at least a 3.10 on a 4.0 scale through the most recent semester/quarter.

The women's team is earning this honor for the 14th consecutive season. The 3.51 GPA ties for the fifth-highest over 14 years. The men's team has been a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team three other times, most recently in 2017.
