Kinjorski and Webb named Arthur Ashe, Jr. Sports Scholars

To be considered for this award, minority student-athletes must have a 3.20 or higher cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale, be at least a sophomore, been an active member of an intercollegiate athletic team during the 2021-22 academic year and demonstrate service to the campus or community.
A history major, Kinjorski is one of six wrestlers nationwide to earn this honor in 2022. On the wrestling mat, Kinjorski posted a 33-29 career record over his four years at Olivet. Of the 33 wins, 27 were falls. Off the mat, Kinjorski was a part of the history club. He is a three-time member of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Academic Honor Roll and a two-time National Wrestling Coaches Association Scholar All-American. Kinjorski was named the Olivet Dean's List seven times and the President's List once.
An accounting major, Webb is a first team pick on the women's golf team. On the golf course, she ended her Comet career with a 95.2 stroke average over 60 rounds. Webb's career-best 18-hole score was an 82. Off the golf course, she volunteered for Olivet's income tax assistance clinic and was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Webb will be a four-time MIAA Academic Honor Roll and Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar selection. She was named to the Olivet President's List five semesters and the Dean's List four times.
Kinjorski and Webb are now first three-time Arthur Ashe, Jr. Sports Scholar honorees. Kinjorski was also on the first team in 2020 and 2021, and Webb earned second team honors in 2021 and first team honors in 2020.
