Olivet swimming and diving teams earn CSCAA Scholar All-America honors
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Olivet College men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams have been named to the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team for the 2021 fall semester. The CSCAA recognized 728 teams from 450 schools with this honor.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Olivet College men's and women's swimming & diving teams have been named to the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team for the 2021 fall semester. The CSCAA recognized 728 teams from 450 schools with this honor.
Under the tutelage of head coach Rob Brownell, the Comet women recorded a 3.72 team grade point average (GPA), while the Olivet men had a 3.28 team GPA. The 3.72 GPA for the women ranks 11th among the 177 NCAA Division III women's programs honored. In addition, the Comets have earned this honor in each of the nine semesters during Brownell's tenure as head coach.
Greg Earhart, CSCAA Executive Director highlighted Olivet's achievements noting, "Coach Brownell continues to build a team the university can be proud of. These 29 men and women are some of the best ambassadors that Olivet and the MIAA could ask for."
