The Female Comet of the Week is senior Emily Norkowski, of Fife Lake, and graduate of Forest Area High School. Norkowski took first in the triple jump at the Central Michigan University / Jack Skoog Open. Her winning mark (33 feet, 3-1/4 inches) ranks second among Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association jumpers this winter.
