Dean Trailways Comets of the Week - September 25, 2023

The Dean Trailways Male Comet of the Week is freshman Michael Elzerman, of Rochester Hills, and graduate of Rochester Adams High School. Elzerman scored the game-winning goal in the men’s soccer team’s 3-1 win over Mount St. Joseph (Ohio) University. He also added the assist on the third goal.

The Dean Trailways Female Comet of the Week is junior Abbey Peters, of Olivet, and graduate of Oivet High School. Peters led the women’s cross country team at the Lansing Community College Invitational. She ran the 5K race in a time of 20 minutes and 36.8 seconds to finish 31st of 163 runners. Peters’ performance helped the Comets place seventh of 14 schools.
