Dean Trailways Comets of the Week - April 22, 2024

The Dean Trailways Female Comet of the Week is junior London Eldridge, of Stanton, and graduate of Central Montcalm High School. At the Hillsdale College Invitational, Eldridge broke the school record in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:05.77. She previously held the record at 1:06.12. The time ranks first among by more than two seconds in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association this season.

The Dean Trailways Male Comet of the Week is freshman Peter Moore, of Hillsdale, and graduate of Hillsdale High School. Competing in his hometown at the Hillsdale College Invitational, Moore placed second in the triple jump (40 feet, 4 inches) and third in the long jump (20 feet, 3-3/4 inches). The triple jump performance ranks 10th in school history, and the long jump mark is a season best. In addition, the performances helped Olivet finish second in the team standings.
