Dean Trailways Comets of the Week - January 29, 2024

The Dean Trailways Male Comet of the Week is freshman DeVondre Chandler, of Bath, and graduate of Bath High School. Chandler broke the school record in the high jump at the Wittenberg University / Steemer Showcase. His winning clearance of 6 feet and 7-3/4 inches is also tied for eighth on the NCAA Division III Performance List.

The Dean Trailways Female Comet of the Week is sophomore Natalia Johnson, of Lansing, and graduate of Sexton High School. Johnson posted a pair of school all-time top five performances at the Wittenberg University / Steemer Showcase. She started the day by tying for the second-best time in the 60-meter dash at 8.27 seconds and ended the day recording the fourth-best time in the 200-meter dash at 27.66 seconds.
