This week’s Dean Trailways Co-Male Comet of the Week is senior Nicholas Hoffman, of Fenton, and graduate of Hartland High School. Hoffman carded a 69 in the second round of the Mount St. Joseph (Ohio) University Spring Men’s Golf Invitational. The 69 was the low score of the two-day tournament. His round included an eagle and three birdies. The 69 was a career-best for Hoffman, and the lowest round by an Olivet men's golfer since 2013. When you combine the 69 with his 77 in the first round, the 146 total tied him for seventh of 80 golfers in the tournament.
