Bio
Halfback on Olivet’s 1906 MIAA championship football team;
record-holder in basketball scoring 40 points, 19 field goals and 2
free throws in Hillsdale game; also starred in track, holding
distance records finally broken by his son, Grafton. After a career
in coaching, as a lawyer and bank trust officer, he retired in
1952. He served on the Olivet College Board of Trustees for several
years.
