Bio
Called “pound for pound one of the finest athletes in Olivet
history,” his participation in football and baseball was most
notable. He served with distinction with the U.S. Navy Medical
Corps in World War II, and retired after 22 years with the Michigan
Department of Agriculture in October, 1973. He received an Olivet
Alumni Citation in June, 1968. He died in 1975.
