The Olivet College volleyball team lost two matches today at the Kenyon College Tournament in Gambier, Ohio. The Comets were swept by Kenyon in three sets and Otterbein (Ohio) University in four sets.

GAMBIER, Ohio – The Olivet College volleyball team lost two matches today at the Kenyon College Tournament in Gambier, Ohio. The Comets were swept by Kenyon in three sets and Otterbein (Ohio) University in four sets.
THE BASICS
Final Score: Kenyon def. Olivet 25-17, 25-19, 25-16
Location: Tomsich Arena; Gambier, Ohio
Records: Kenyon 9-3 overall, Olivet 5-5 overall
FOR THE COMETS
- Freshman Brittney Prince and senior Re'Gene Thompson each recorded six kills.
- Freshman Madelyn Notenbaum had five kills, seven set assists and seven digs.
- Senior Danielle Bearden dished out a team-best 16 set assists.
- Freshman Gabrielle Mundt collected a match-high 10 digs.
FOR THE LADIES
- Delaney Swanson finished with a match-best 12 kills.
- Jensen Shubert posted team-highs in set assists (33) and digs (nine).

FOR THE COMETS
- Junior Allison Turner finished with a team-best 10 kills, followed by Thompson with six.
- Notenbaum had a team-leading 16 set assists.
- Senior Mona Hinamanu registered a team-high 19 digs.
FOR THE CARDINALS
- Marie Thonrton slammed down a match-high 15 kills.
- Andrea Miller had 39 set assists.
- Ashlyn Leon recorded a team-high 10 digs.
UP NEXT
- Olivet now prepares for three Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association matches next week. On Tuesday night, the Comets travel to play Albion College and on Friday night, they host Trine (Ind.) University. Both matches start at 6:30 p.m. On Saturday, Olivet makes the drive to play Saint Mary's (Ind.) College at noon.
