Women’s volleyball team splits two matches to finish weekend with 3-1 record
The Olivet College volleyball team split two matches at the Anderson (Ind.) University/Raven Invitational. The Comets were swept by Franklin (Ind.) College in three sets before rallying to beat Mount St. Joseph (Ohio) University in five sets.

ANDERSON, Ind. – The Olivet College volleyball team split two matches at the Anderson (Ind.) University/Raven Invitational. The Comets were swept by Franklin (Ind.) College in three sets before rallying to beat Mount St. Joseph (Ohio) University in five sets. For her performance, freshman Madelyn Notenbaum was selected to the All-Tournament team.

- The Comets totaled 28 kills in the loss.
- Senior Re'Gene Thompson pounded down a team-high nine kills and recorded four blocks, including three solo.
- Freshman Brittney Prince had five kills.
- Senior Danielle Bearden collected 16 set assists.
- Senior Mona Hinamanu dug up a team-best 11 balls.
FOR THE GRIZZLIES
- Jenna Spini finished with nine kills.
- Ashley Bazier recorded 14 set assists.
- Libby Stahl registered 21 digs.

- Thompson paced the Comets' front row with 20 kills and 12 blocks.
- Notenbaum was next with 10 kills to go along with 24 set assists and 10 digs.
- Bearden dished out a team-leading 26 set assists.
- Hinamanu and junior Courtney Cronkright each had 25 digs.
FOR THE LIONS
- Jessica Wilgenbusch topped the Lions with 13 kills, while Hannah Losey and Briana Looney had 12 and 11, respectively.
- Lynsee Spatz recorded 28 set assists.
- Four players had double digit digs, led by Kama Charles with 13.
