Volleyball team drops three-set match at Alma
The Olivet College volleyball team dropped a three-set match to Alma College tonight at the Art Smith Arena in Alma. The Scots won by scores of 25-23, 25-10 and 25-21.

ALMA, Mich. – The Olivet College volleyball team dropped a three-set match to Alma College tonight at the Art Smith Arena in Alma. The Scots won by scores of 25-23, 25-10 and 25-21.
Sophomore Tina Westendorp (Nashville/Maple Valley) shared match-high honors with 10 kills. She had only two errors on 28 attacks for a team-leading .286 hitting percentage. Junior Kristen Sharpley (Marshall) and freshman Emma Brann (Ann Arbor/Pioneer) finished with seven and six kills, respectively.
Freshman Taylor Pringle (Haslett) recorded a career, single-match high 17 set assists. Freshman Megan VanderVlucht (McBain) had a team-leading nine digs, followed Westendorp with seven and sophomore Kaitlyn Salhaney (Caledonia/East Kentwood) with six.
The Comets will return to action Wednesday, Sept. 28, when they host Trine (Ind.) University. First serve inside The Cutler Event Center is 6:30 p.m.
