Women’s Track and Field: Olivet records multiple personal- and season-bests at Davenport Invitational

CALEDONIA, Mich. – The University of Olivet women's outdoor track and field team recorded multiple personal- and season-best performances today at the 2024 Davenport University Invitational, held at the Farmers Insurance Athletic Complex.
- Sophomore Natalia Johnson finished third in the 100-meter dash with a personal-best time of 12.81 seconds, which moves her up to third all-time at Olivet.
- Also, in the 100-meter dash, freshman Morgan Jeffries ran a season-best time of 13.23 seconds, which is seventh all-time. She also had a season-best time of 27.34 seconds in the 200-meter dash and that time is ninth-fastest in school history.
- Junior London Eldridge completed the 400-meter dash in a personal-best time of 1:01.74 to climb up to fifth all-time.
- Also, in the 400-meter dash, freshman Aubrey Connelly had the eighth-quickest time in school history at 1:02.16.
- Senior Abbey Peters posted personal-best times in the 800-meter run and 1,500-meter run. The 800 time, 2:31.16, is seventh-fastest and the 1,500 time, 5:05.31, is fourth-fastest.
- Sophomore Sarah Grove also recorded lifetime-best marks in the 800-meter run (2:38.59) and 1,500-meter run (5:14.73). The 1,500 time ranks fifth all-time.
- Other season-best marks were by:
- Freshman Aaliyah Cota in the 1,500-meter run (5:36.86)
- Junior Lily Rozeveld in the 400-meter run (1:21.16)
- Freshman Alyson Senish in the discus (67 feet, 6 inches) and javelin (93 feet, 3 inches)
- Senior Tonya Tepin in the 800-meter run (2:37.53)
- On Friday and Saturday, April 19-20, Olivet participates in the Grand Valley State University Al Owens Classic.
