Track & Field: Eldridge helps Olivet place seventh at MIAA Indoor Championships

ANGOLA, Ind. – Junior London Eldridge led The University of Olivet women's indoor track & field team to a seventh-place finish at the 2024 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championship today at the Keith E. Busse/Steel Dynamics Athletic and Recreation Center.
- Eldridge posted Olivet's top individual finish, as she took second in the 400-meter dash (1:01.35). She also placed fourth in the 60-meter hurdles (9.91).
- Eldridge along with freshmen Natalia Johnson and Aubrey Connelly and senior Tonya Tepin finished second in the 4x400-meter relay. Their time, 4:17.48, ranks second in school history.
- Johnson was fourth in the 60-meter dash with a school-record time of 8.09 seconds and fifth in the 200-meter dash (27.04).
- The distance medley quartet of junior Sarah Grove, Tepin, senior Allyson Stevens and junior Abbey Peters clocked-in with the fourth-fastest time at 13:35.47 to rank third all-time at Olivet.
- A select group of student-athletes will compete at a last chance meet next week.
