Women’s indoor track & field team competes at Mrs. G Invitational
ANGOLA, Ind. – The Olivet College women’s indoor track and field teams posted personal- and season-best performances today at the Trine (Ind.) University Mrs. G Invitational. The Comets tied for sixth-place with 36.33 points.

ANGOLA, Ind. – The Olivet College women's indoor track and field teams posted personal- and season-best performances today at the Trine (Ind.) University Mrs. G Invitational. The Comets tied for sixth-place with 36.33 points.
- Senior Gabby Jolliff won the pole vault, clearing the bar at 3.05 mark. She tied with two other competitors for the top mark, but she got over the bar on her first attempt, so she was given first-place. The two competitors needed all three attempts.
- Sophomore Emily Norkowski led a 3-4 Olivet finish in the 60-meter hurdles. Her time was 9.94 seconds, followed by sophomore London Eldridge in fourth with a season-best time of 10.01 seconds.
- The 4x400-meter relay team of Eldridge, Norkowski, sophomore Abbey Peters and junior Allyson Stevens was third among "A" relays, with a time of 4:29.25.
- Norkowski also posted personal-times of 8.45 seconds in the 60-meter dash and 28.34 seconds in the 200-meter dash, and placed fourth in the long jump with a 4.89-meter leap.
- Other personal-best performances were:
- Eldridge in the 60-meter dash (8.57)
- Sophomore Berniah Alexander in the weight throw (11.24 meters)
- Season-best performances were:
- Eldridge in the 200-meter dash (28.53)
- Freshman Sarah Grove in the 800-meter run (2:42.36)
- Olivet participates in the Grand Valley State University "Big" Meet next Friday and Saturday, February 10-11.
