Eldridge helps women’s track and field team finish fifth at MIAA Field Day
ALBION, Mich. – Freshman London Eldridge led the Olivet College women’s track and field team to a fifth-place finish at the 2022 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Field Day, hosted by Albion College and at the Elkin Isaac Track. The Comets totaled 59 points to equal their best finish in school history. Olivet was also fifth at the MIAA Field Day in 2005, 2006, 2011 and 2014.

ALBION, Mich. – Freshman London Eldridge led the Olivet College women's track and field team to a fifth-place finish at the 2022 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Field Day, hosted by Albion College and at the Elkin Isaac Track. The Comets totaled 59 points to equal their best finish in school history. Olivet was also fifth at the MIAA Field Day in 2005, 2006, 2011 and 2014.
- Freshman London Eldridge had top three finishes in both hurdle events. She was second in the 400-meter hurdles with a school-record time of 1:06.12 and third in the 100-meter hurdles with a season-best time of 15.91 seconds.
- Eldridge also ran legs of both relays which finished in sixth-place. Joining her on the 4x100-meter relay was sophomore Taylor Wilsey, junior Gabby Jolliff and sophomore Alex DeVault, and their time was 52.35 seconds. The 4x400-meter relay team of Eldridge, DeVault, and sophomores Allyson Stevens and Tonya Tepin posted a season-best time of 4:22.18.
- Freshman Abbey Peters placed fourth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a season-best time of 11:55.87.
- Sophomore Ashley Santo led a 3-4 Comet finish in the discus throw. Her third-place throw traveled a season-best mark of 119 feet, 2 inches. Senior Lillian Albaugh was fourth (114 feet, 10 inches).
- Senior Kaylee Richardson capped her collegiate career with two personal-best times. She completed the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 12:48.49 and the 5,000-meter run in 20:21.81.
