Women’s track and field team places second at Olivet Triangular
OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College women's track and field team finished second at the 2022 OC Triangular today inside the Cutler Athletic Complex and on the Kolassa Track. The Comets had 126 points, which was only seven points less than first-place Albion College. Alma College placed third with 96 points.

OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College women's track and field team finished second at the 2022 OC Triangular today inside the Cutler Athletic Complex and on the Kolassa Track. The Comets had 126 points, which was only seven points less than first-place Albion College. Alma College placed third with 96 points.
- Freshman London Eldridge won the 400-meter hurdles (1:11.87) and placed second in the 100-meter hurdles (16.32).
- Freshman Abbey Peters took first in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (12:24.56).
- Junior Gabby Jolliff was first in the pole vault (9 feet, 6-1/4 inches) and second in the high jump (4 feet, 7-3/4 inches).
- Senior Lillian Albaugh scored first-place points in the shot put (41 feet, 10-1/2 inches) and second-place points in the discus throw (110 feet, 2 inches).
- Sophomore Allyson Stevens threw the top mark in the javelin (80 feet, 3 inches) and finished second in the 800-meter run (2:41.77).
- Senior Kaylee Richardson ran personal-best outdoor times in the 1,500-meter run (5:28.06) and 3,000-meter run (11:54.45).
- The Comets are back in action next weekend at a to be determined meet. The originally scheduled competition at Hillsdale College has been cancelled.
