Women’s indoor track and field team competes at Red, White and Blue Classic
YPSILANTI, Mich. – The Olivet College women’s indoor track and field team competed at the Red, White and Blue Classic, hosted by Concordia University today at Ypsilanti Lincoln High School.

YPSILANTI, Mich. – The Olivet College women's indoor track and field team competed at the Red, White and Blue Classic, hosted by Concordia University today at Ypsilanti Lincoln High School.
- Senior Lillian Albaugh finished third in the shot put with a season-best mark of 41 feet, 8 inches. She also notched a season-best mark of 41 feet, 9-3/4 inches in the weight throw.
- Freshmen Emily Norkowski and London Eldridge placed sixth and seventh in the 60-meter hurdles. During the preliminaries, both ran season-best times at 9.70 seconds for Norkowski and 9.81 seconds for Eldridge.
- Eldridge was third in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:02.92. The only runners to finish ahead of her was an NAIA student-athlete and unattached runner.
- Olivet's 4x800-meter relay team of freshman Abbey Peters, sophomore Allyson Stevens, sophomore Taryn Campbell and senior Kaylee Richardson broke the school record with a time of 11:05.05, which converts to 11:12.70.
- Sophomore Alex DeVault posted a season-best times of 8.65 seconds in the 60-meter dash prelims and 29.11 seconds in the 200-meter dash finals.
- Also, in the 60-meter dash prelims, sophomore Taylor Wilsey recorded a personal-best time of 8.76 seconds.
- Norkowski and Wilsey had season-best marks in the long jump at 15 feet, 7 inches and 14 feet, 1-1/4 inches, respectively
- Olivet participates in the Grand Valley State University "Big Meet" next Friday.
