Albaugh wins shot put, women’s indoor track and field team participates in Wittenberg / STEEMER Showcase
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – The Olivet College women’s indoor track and field team participated in the Wittenberg (Ohio) University / STEEMER Showcase. The meet was unscored and featured mostly NCAA Division IIII student-athletes as well as a few unattached competitors.

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – The Olivet College women's indoor track and field team participated in the Wittenberg (Ohio) University / STEEMER Showcase. The meet was unscored and featured mostly NCAA Division IIII student-athletes as well as a few unattached competitors.
- In a field of 38 throwers, senior Lillian Albaugh won the shot put with a 40 feet, 11 inch mark.
- Junior Gabby Jolliff took fourth in the pole vault with a personal-best 10 feet, 3/4 inch clearance.
- Sophomore Allyson Stevens completed the 400-meter dash in a personal-best time of 1:06.83.
- Freshman Abbey Peters posted a season-best time of 5:40.09 in the mile run.
- Freshman Berniah Alexander had a season-best mark of 30 feet, 6-1/2 inches in the shot put.
- Sophomore Taylor Wilsey leaped to a season-best mark of 13 feet, 9-1/2 inches in the long jump.
- Freshman Emily Norkowski tallied a season-best clearance of 4 feet, 8-1/4 inches in the high jump.
- The Comets are back in action next Friday, February 4, at the Red, White and Blue Classic, hosted by Concordia University. The meet will take place at Ypsilanti Lincoln High School.
