Track & Field: Ciaravino competes in heptathlon at OWU Invitational
Olivet College senior Cassie Ciaravino competed in the heptathlon May 11-12 at the 2015 Ohio Wesleyan University Ron Althoff Invitational.
DELAWARE, Ohio – Olivet College senior Cassie Ciaravino competed in the heptathlon May 11-12 at the 2015 Ohio Wesleyan University Ron Althoff Invitational.
Ciaravino scored 3,861 total points, which was a season-best by 194 points. Her best performances in the first day's events was in the high jump, where she shared second-place with a 1.57 meter/5'1.75" clearance. Ciaravino's best second-day performance was in the long jump, where she had the second-best mark at 5.14 meters/16'10.50". Below is a list of her marks and points scored in each of the seven events.
Event #1 – 100-meter hurdles – :15.63 – 760 points
Event #2 – high jump – 1.57m/5'1.75" – 701 points
Event #3 – shot put – 7.84m/25'8.75" – 389 points
Event #4 – 200-meter dash – :27.30 – 687 points
Event #5 – long jump – 5.14m/16'10.50" – 598 points
Event #6 – javelin – 20.80m/68'3" – 304 points
Events #7 – 800-meter dash – 2:54.12 – 422 points
