In the field events, senior Sara Wegener (Lansing/Lansing Catholic) was second in both the shot put (12.09 meters) and hammer throw (40.07 meters). Olivet had two top-five finishers in the pole vault. Sophomore Danielle Hoffman (Parma/Western) was one of four student-athletes to clear the top mark of 2.75 meters, but she needed more attempts to clear other heights, so the judge's decision gave her fourth-place. Ciaravino placed third in the long jump with a 4.92 meter leap. Wagner and five others tied for second in the high jump with 1.45 meter clearances before the judge's decision broke the tie, giving fifth-place to Wagner.
