OLIVET, Mich. – The University of Olivet women's tennis team fell to Concordia University-Ann Arbor, 6-3, in its home-opener this afternoon at the Kolassa Tennis Complex. It is believed to be the first match in school history to be played on campus. Previously, all matches were played at sites away from Olivet.
- Final Score: Concordia-Ann Arbor 6, Olivet 3
- Location: Kolassa Tennis Complex; Olivet, Michigan
- Records: Olivet 0-1 overall, Concordia-Ann Arbor 1-0 overall
- The Comets earned wins in two-of-three doubles flights before the Cardinals won five-of-six singles flights to win the match 6-3.
- Both the No. 2 doubles team of freshmen Amirah Goode and Jordan West, and No. 3 team of freshmen Kayden Alli and Madison Golden won 8-3.
- Sophomore Leah Hopkins provided Olivet's single point, as she won 6-2, 6-3 at the No. 3 slot.
- Olivet plays Illinois College next Sunday, September 17. The match is being contested at Minooka High School in Minooka, Illinois, and starts at 3 p.m. ET.
