ALBION, Mich. – The Olivet College women's tennis team fell to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Albion College, 8-1, today at the Dow Center Courts in Albion.

Records: Olivet 2-14 overall, 0-7 MIAA; Albion 5-9 overall, 1-5 MIAA
- The Britons swept the three doubles matches, and won 5-of-6 singles matches.
- Sophomore Keely Cruz earned Olivet's only team point at No. 3 singles. She won her first set 7-5 but lost the second set 6-3. In the match-tiebreaker, Cruz posted a 10-2 win.
- The outcome of the No. 5 and No. 6 singles matches also came down to a match tie-breaker.
- At No. 5 singles, junior Alex Lesko won the first set 6-2, lost the second set 6-3 and the match tie-breaker, 10-2.
- At No. 6 singles, freshman Jordin Ellens lost the first set 6-0, rebounded to win the second set 6-4 but lost the match tie-breaker, 10-8.
- The other three singles matches were decided in straight sets.
- The Comets go on the road Saturday to play Calvin College in their season-finale at 1 p.m.
