BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – The Olivet College women's tennis team beat Grace Christian College, 7-2, this morning inside the Minges Creek Athletic Club in Battle Creek.

- The Comets won two of the three doubles flights, and five-of-six singles flights.
- The No. 1 doubles team of senior Rae Claramunt and junior Miranda Pier claimed an 8-3 win.
- The No. 3 doubles duo of freshman Julia Miklusicak and junior Sydnie Weller posted an 8-2 victory.
- Pier coasted to a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles.
- Claramunt won 6-4, 6-4 at No. 2 singles.
- Sophomore Keely Cruz had a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 4 singles.
- At No. 5 singles, freshman Emily Foulk lost her first set 6-3 but bounced back to win the next set 6-4. She won the match-tiebreaker, 10-8.
- Junior Alex Lesko cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 6 singles.
- The Comets travel to Holland, Michigan, next Thursday, March 28, to open Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play against Hope College at 3 p.m.
