Women’s tennis defeats Penn State Behrend, 6-3
The Olivet College women’s tennis team defeated Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, 6-3, this afternoon at the Chaplin Park Tennis Center in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Olivet College women's tennis team defeated Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, 6-3, this afternoon at the Chaplin Park Tennis Center in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
The Comets won two of three doubles flights to start the match. Both the No. 1 team of sophomore Maddy Driakakis and freshman Rachael Hager, and the No. 2 duo of sophomores Haley Powers and BreAnne Rudlaff recorded identical 8-2 pro-set victories.
Olivet then claimed wins in four of the six singles flights. Hager won both sets 6-1 at the No. 1 singles. Drikakis coasted to a 6-0, 6-1 win at the No. 2 position. Rudlaff won 6-2, 6-0, at the No. 4 slot. Senior Jeanette Fisher lost only two games to win 6-1, 6-1 at No. 6.
The Comets will wrap-up their spring break trip with a 4 p.m. match tomorrow afternoon against Roosevelt University.
