Women’s tennis team loses to Baldwin Wallace, 8-1
The Olivet College women’s tennis team lost 8-1 to Baldwin Wallace (Ohio) University on its spring break trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina.

HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Olivet College women's tennis team lost 8-1 to Baldwin Wallace (Ohio) University on its spring break trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina.
Freshman Rachael Hager earned the Comets' lone team point, as she won in straight sets 6-4 and 6-3 at the No. 1 singles position. Two other Olivet players lost matches which were decided by a super-tiebreaker for the third set. At No. 2 singles, sophomore Maddy Drikakis won the first set 6-2 before her opponent came back to win the second set, 6-2, and then won the super-tiebreaker, 10-3. At No. 6 singles, senior Jeanette Fisher fell in the first 6-0 but rebounded to win the second set, 6-3, and then fell 10-8 in the super-tiebreaker.
Olivet will continue play in Hilton Head tomorrow with a 1 p.m. match against University of Penn State at Behrend (Pa.). The match will take place at the Chaplin Park Tennis Center.
