HOLLAND, Mich. – The Olivet College women's tennis team was shutout by Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association leader Hope College this afternoon at the Vande Poel-Herrringa Stadium Courts in Holland.
The Flying Dutch breezed through the doubles flights, with 8-0, 8-1 and 8-0 wins. Freshman Maddy Drikakis had the most success for the Comets in singles play, losing in straight sets by scores of 6-3 and 6-2.
Olivet travels to play Calvin College tomorrow morning in its season-finale at 10 a.m.
