Women’s tennis: Comets end trip with 6-2 loss to Juniata
The Olivet College women’s tennis team ended its spring break trip with a 6-2 loss to Juniata (Pa.) College this evening at Chaplin Park in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Olivet College women's tennis team ended its spring break trip with a 6-2 loss to Juniata (Pa.) College this evening at Chaplin Park in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
The Comets' earned their two team points at No. 5 and No. 6 singles. Junior Lucy McNally won an 8-4 pro-set at the No. 5 position, while senior Devan Thomas did not lose any games for an 8-0 pro-set victory at the No. 6 position.
Freshman BreAnne Rudlaff won her first set, 7-6, at No. 4 singles before darkness halted the match with the second set tied at 2-2. Freshman Maddy Drikakis had a 6-4 win in the first set until her opponent rallied to win the second set, 6-1 and then won a match tiebreaker, 10-5.
The Comets are now off until Sunday, March 22, when they host Adrian College for their Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association opener. First serve from the Minges Creek Athletic Club in Battle Creek is 1 p.m.
