Women’s tennis: Comets defeat Concordia, 6-3
The Olivet College women’s tennis team won 2-of-3 doubles flights and 4-of-6 flights to beat Concordia University, 6-3, today indoors at the Minges Creek Athletic Club in Battle Creek.

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – The Olivet College women's tennis team won 2-of-3 doubles flights and 4-of-6 flights to beat Concordia University, 6-3, today indoors at the Minges Creek Athletic Club in Battle Creek.
In doubles play, the Comets' No. 2 duo of freshmen Haley Powers and BreAnne Rudlaff, and No. 3 tandem of junior Lucy McNally and sophomore Isabel Snyder both did not lose any games for 8-0 pro-set victories. Powers posted identical 6-3 scores in both sets for a straight-set win at No. 3 singles. Rudlaff cruised to a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 4 singles.
At No. 5 singles, McNally only lost one game and she coasted to a 6-1, 6-0 victory. Snyder posted a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 6 singles.
Olivet is now off until it plays four matches in four days during a Spring Break trip to Hilton Head, North Carolina. The Comets' first match is Monday, March 9, against Carroll (Wis.) University at 11:30 a.m.
