Wes Wilson starts his second season as an assistant swimming coach at Olivet College in 2019-20.

A native of Richmond, Virginia, Wilson graduated from Marymount University (Va.) in May 2018 with a bachelor's of science degree in health science. He was a member of the swimming team at Marymount, and his best events were the individual medley, butterfly and breaststroke. As a senior, Wilson was the team captain. He was a two-time team MVP in 2015-16 and 2016-17. Wilson posted multiple top eight finishes at the Capital Athletic Conference championships and was a three-time Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship qualifer.

Wilson was an age group coach at Clark Swim club in Arlington, Virginia, from 2017-18.
