Swimming: Mann shatters school record in 200 IM

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Senior Jennifer Mann competed in the 200-yard individual medley at the 2024 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships this morning at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
In the race, Mann shattered the school record with a time of 2:07.71. The time placed her 40th of 56 swimmers. Mann's 50-yard splits were 27.48 seconds in the butterfly, 33.83 seconds in the backstroke, 36.19 seconds in the breaststroke and 30.21 seconds in the freestyle. The previous school record was 2:13.72 by Crystal Jager on February 17, 2011.
Mann will swim in the 200-yard freestyle tomorrow and 200-yard breaststroke on Saturday. Prelims will start each morning at 10 a.m., followed by finals in the evening at 6 p.m.
