Swimming and Diving: Olivet ends dual meet season at Albion

ALBION, Mich. – The University of Olivet men's and women's swimming and diving teams closed out the dual meet portion of their Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) schedule with setbacks to Albion College. The men fell 134-62 and the women lost 155-83.

- Senior Jennifer Mann posted the fastest times in the 200-yard freestyle (1:59.51), 200-yard backstroke (2:19.18) and 500-yard freestyle (5:25.64).
- Sophomore Bridgette Shroll won the 1,000-yard freestyle (11.36.72) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:14.36). She also placed second in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:41.22).
- Sophomore Kelsee Lawson swam to a runner-up finish in the 100-yard freestyle (1:04.74)
- Sophomore Matthew Brown took second in the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:30.46)
- Senior Dylan Lyons finished second in the 100-yard backstroke (1:00.41)
- Freshman Logan Weicht had the second-fastest time in the 100-yard butterfly (1:02.68)
- Junior Treyton Gabrielson was second in the 200-yard freestyle (1:56.96)
- The Comets compete at the 2024 MIAA Swimming and Diving Championship Wednesday-Saturday, February 21-24 at the Holland Aquatic Center.
