Swimming and Diving: Olivet falls to Alma

ALMA, Mich. – The University of Olivet men's and women's swimming and diving teams fell to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Alma College today at McClure Natatorium. The Comet women lost, 111-54, and the men lost, 112-35.
- Men's Final Score: Alma defeated Olivet, 112-35

- Jennifer Mann finished first in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:57.51), 100-yard butterfly (1:01.87) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:10.80).
- Bridgette Shroll was second in the 200-yard individual medley (2:26.63) and 500-yard freestyle (5:40.80).
- Mya Kinnunen had the second-fastest time in the 100-yard backstroke (1:07.18).
- The 200-yard medley relay team of Dylan Lyons, Landon Morgan, Treyton Gabrielson and Seth Kading took first with a winning time of 1:45.77.
- Gabrielson was second in the 1000-yard freestyle (11:01.40).
- Morgan finished second in the 200-yard freestyle (1:53.09).
- Kading place second in the 200-yard individual medley (2:11.78) and 100-yard freestyle (52.41).
- Olivet closes out its dual meet schedule next Saturday, February 3, when it competes at Albion College. The meet gets started at 1 p.m.
