Women’s swimming & diving team sweeps double dual against Anderson and Manchester
OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College women’s swimming & diving team won eight individual events and one relay to sweep a non-conference double dual meet against Anderson (Ind.) and Manchester (Ind.) universities today at the Upton Center Pool. The Comets defeated Anderson, 145-93, and Manchester, 140-124.

OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College women's swimming & diving team won eight individual events and one relay to sweep a non-conference double dual meet against Anderson (Ind.) and Manchester (Ind.) universities today at the Upton Center Pool. The Comets defeated Anderson, 145-93, and Manchester, 140-124.
- Junior Jennifer Mann and freshman Sarah Steffens each won took first in their three individual events and swam on the winning 400-yard freestyle relay.
- Mann took first in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:10.41), 200-yard freestyle (2:00.89) and 500-yard freestyle (5:29.47).
- Steffens touched first in the 100-yard freestyle (:58.14), 200-yard butterfly (2:18.18) and 200-yard individual medley (2:19.35).
- Freshman Makaila Dodd placed first in the 100-yard butterfly (1:06.35).
- Freshman Bridgette Shroll was first in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:35.91), and second in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:10.86) and 200-yard individual medley (2:21.36).
- Mann, Dodd, Steffens and Shroll swam the winning 400 free relay in 3:58.72.
- Freshman Kelsee Lawson clocked-in second in the 1000-yard freestyle (12:31.21).
- The Comets will participate a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Triangular next Friday, November 11, at Kalamazoo College. Olivet will compete against the host Hornets and Calvin University.
