Seven athletic teams from The University of Olivet presented MIAA Team GPA award
HUDONSVILLE, Mich. – The 2022-23 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Team GPA award has been presented to seven athletic teams from The University of Olivet. This award is presented annually to the conference teams who post a 3.30 or higher cumulative grade point average for the entire academic year.

Four swimmers selected to CSC Academic All-District team
OLIVET, Mich. – Four Olivet College men’s and women’s swimmers have been named to the 2023 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team and are now eligible to earn CSC Academic All-America® honors. The honorees are junior Jennifer Mann from the women’s team, and sophomores Seth Kading and Landon Morgan, and senior Takato Timmerman from the men’s team.

HUDSONVILLE, Mich. – Olivet College junior Jennifer Mann has been named to 2022-23 All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Women’s Swimming and Diving Team. This honor is based on her performance at the 2023 MIAA Championship.

Swimming teams place fifth and sixth at 2023 MIAA Championships
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Olivet College men’s and women’s swimming teams placed fifth and sixth at the 2023 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championships. The Comet men scored 254 points, while the Olivet women had 286 points. The top swim from today’s events was junior Jennifer Mann winning the league title in the 200-yard breaststroke.

Men’s and women’s swimming teams stand fifth and sixth at 2023 MIAA Championships
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Day three of the 2023 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championships at the Venema Aquatic Center is in the books for the Olivet College men’s and women’s swimming teams. The Comet men are fifth with 191 points, 30 points ahead of sixth-place Alma College. The Olivet women are sixth with 216 points, one point behind fifth-place Alma. Highlighting Friday’s events was junior Jennifer Mann’s first-place swim in the 400-yard individual medley.

Swimming teams sit fifth at 2023 MIAA Championships
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Olivet College men’s and women’s swimming teams are fifth-place after the second day of the 2023 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championships inside the Venema Aquatic Center. The Comet women have totaled 131 points and are 10 points ahead of sixth-place Alma College. The men have recorded 113 points and are six points ahead of sixth-place Alma.

ALBION, Mich. – The Olivet College women’s swimming team closed out the dual meet portion of its Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) schedule with a 148-82 setback to Albion College today inside the Dean Aquatic Center.

Women’s swimming team splits non-conference double dual at Bethel
ELKHART, Ind. – The Olivet College women’s swimming team posted a 1-1 record in a non-conference double dual meet against Bethel (Ind.) and Manchester (Ind.) universities this afternoon at the Elkhart Aquatic Center. The Comets defeated Manchester, 166-79, but fell to the host Pilots, 179-75.

Swimming teams drop MIAA dual meets to Hope and Kalamazoo
HOLLAND, Mich. – The Olivet College men’s and women’s swimming teams suffered losses to Hope College and Kalamazoo College in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association dual meets tonight at the Holland Aquatic Center. The men fell to the Hornets, 178-48, and Flying Dutchmen, 191-32. The women lost 161-53 to Kalamazoo and 176-35 to Hope.
