ADRIAN, Mich. – The Olivet College women's soccer team was shutout by Adrian College, 3-0, in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) contest tonight under the lights at Docking Stadium in Adrian.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bulldogs struck for a goal only two minutes and 26 seconds into the game when a shot by Caroline Fleming hit off the post, and Mya Oleksiak buried the rebound into the goal.
- Adrian added two more goals, the first in 18th minute by Mackenzie Wilcox and the second by Oleksiak in the 28th minute, to extend its lead to 3-0 at halftime. Fleming was credited with an assist on both goals.
FOR THE COMETS
- Olivet's first scoring opportunity came in the 49th minute when junior Emma Essen headed the ball wide of the net off a corner kick by sophomore Abby Radcliffe.
- The last scoring chance came in the 59th minute. Senior Isabelle Leon sent a cross into the box, where freshman Chelsie Smith's shot sailed over the crossbar.
- Freshman goalkeeper Brooklyn Holley faced 23 shots and collected eight saves.
FOR THE BULLDOGS
- Fleming had eight shots to go along with her three assists.
- Wilcox was next with five shots.
- Ayverie Giller earned the clean sheet in goal.
