OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College women's soccer team fell to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Albion College, 4-1, this afternoon at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Britons struck for two goals in the first 24 minutes and 14 seconds.
- The Comets got on the scoreboard at the 36:36 mark when senior Isabelle Leon found the back of the net off a pass from junior Emma Essen.
- Albion immediately answered 17 seconds later to regain its two-goal cushion.
- The score stayed 3-1 at halftime.
- The Britons capped their scoring in the 53rd minute.
FOR THE COMETS
- Olivet finished the game with 14 shots, including three each for Essen, Leon and sophomore Maya Prewitt.
- Freshman Brooklyn Holley suffered the loss in goal, as she had four saves on 10 Briton shots.
FOR THE BRITONS
- Four players – Samantha LaRocca, Jenna Urso, Clare Kelly and Molly Hancock – scored one goal apiece.
- LaRocca recorded a team-best four shots.
- Maggie Troost was the winning goalkeeper. She collected seven saves.
