OLIVET, Mich. – Sophomore Maya Prewitt scored two goals to help the Olivet College women's soccer team stay unbeaten with a 4-1 win over Alma College in its home-opener this afternoon at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Comets struck for four goals in the first half.
- Junior Emma Essen scored the first goal on a penalty kick in the 19th minute.
- The next two goals came in a 33-second span. Prewitt netted the first goal after getting a pass from senior Isabelle Leon at the 30:28 mark. Essen then assisted on Leon's team-leading fourth goal of the season at the 31:05 mark.
- Olivet capped its scoring in the 39th minute on Prewitt's second goal, which was assisted by freshman Samantha Torres.
- The Scots tallied their only goal six minutes into the second half.
FOR THE COMETS
- For the game, the Comets had a 17-8 advantage in shots.
- Leon led the way with six shots, while Essen had three.
- Freshman Brooklyn Holley picked-up the win in goal, recording one save.
