GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Olivet College women's soccer team fell to Calvin College, 4-1 this afternoon at Zuidema Field in Grand Rapids.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Knights took an early 1-0 lead on a goal by Brianna Russell in the fifth minute.
- The Comets evened the score two minutes and 19 seconds before halftime on a goal by junior Miranda Quick.
- Calvin then scored three unanswered goals in the second half to pull out the 4-1 win.
FOR THE COMETS
- Olivet finished the game with six shots, with half coming from freshman Maddy Lewitt.
- Freshman Brooklyn Burel collected six saves, while playing the entire game in goal.
FOR THE KNIGHTS
- In addition to Russell, Carly Veenstra had a pair of goals and Emily VanVeldhuisen had one.
- MacKenna Nesky recorded six shots.
- Brianna Koehn made three saves.
