OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College women's soccer team came up short against Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Albion College, 3-1, this afternoon at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Britons took a 2-0 halftime lead behind a goal by Domenique Sarnecky in the eighth minute and Molly Hancock in the 33rd minute.
- There was no more scoring until 5:04 left in the game when freshman Sarah Feldpausch broke up the shutout with her second goal in as many games. Freshman Maddy Lewitt earned the assist, as her crossing pass was deflected by the keeper but right to Feldpausch.
- Albion capped its scoring two minutes and 10 seconds later on a goal by Kayla Paquette.
FOR THE COMETS
- Olivet recorded 17 shots in the loss, but only six were placed on-goal.
- Sophomore Emma Essen had a team-best four shots.
- Junior Isabelle Leon registered three shots.
- Feldpausch, Lewitt and junior Emily Reinecke each collected two shots.
- Freshman Brooklyn Burel faced 20 shots in goal and made eight saves, while playing all 90 minutes.
FOR THE BRITONS
- Sarnecky had five of the 20 Albion shots.
- Urso was next with four.
- Maggie Troost won the game in goal, and had five saves.
