Women’s soccer: Reinecke earns MIAA Offensive Player of the Week honors
Olivet College freshman midfielder Emily Reinecke has earned Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Offensive Player of the Week honors for women’s soccer.

OLIVET, Mich. – Olivet College freshman midfielder Emily Reinecke has earned Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Offensive Player of the Week honors for women's soccer.
Reinecke scored both Comet goals, including the game-winner off a corner kick, to help Olivet beat Saint Mary's (Ind.) College Sept. 27 at the Cutler Athletic Complex. She also had several scoring chances in the Comets' 0-0 double overtime draw Sept. 24 at Trine (Ind.) University.
For the season, Reinecke has started all nine games and is second on the team with 13 points (five goals and three assists). She tops the team with 28 shots, placing 16 on-goal.
Olivet plays two home games this week, with the first being tomorrow at 4 p.m. against Calvin College.
