KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Olivet College women's soccer team was shutout by Kalamazoo College, 3-0, in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association contest at Mackenzie Field in Kalamazoo.
The Hornets scored in the ninth minute to lead 1-0 at halftime. Kalamazoo added two more goals in the second half for the win. The Comets were limited to six total shots in the game, including two for senior Nicole Borek. junior Deanna Zolnoski and sophomore Kori Ramirez split time in goal. Zolnoski made eight saves.
The Comets (2-2-1, 0-2 MIAA) host Hope College next Tuesday, Sept. 16, at 4 p.m.
