Wrestling team places sixth at NCAA DIII Central Regional
ADRIAN, Mich. – The Olivet College wrestling team placed sixth of 18 schools at the 2020 NCAA Division III Central Regional, hosted by Adrian College at the Merillat Sport & Fitness Center.

ADRIAN, Mich. – The Olivet College wrestling team placed sixth of 18 schools at the 2020 NCAA Division III Central Regional, hosted by Adrian College at the Merillat Sport & Fitness Center.
- Olivet had a program record nine wrestlers finish in the top eight of their respective weight class.
- The breakdown of finishes were two in fourth, three in fifth, one in sixth, two in seventh and one in eighth.
- Sophomore Reese Wallis at 133 pounds and senior Cole Hersch at 157 pounds placed fourth for the Comets' top finishers.
- Olivet totaled 92 points. Baldwin Wallace (Ohio) University captured the regional title with 154 points, followed by University of Mount Union (Ohio) with 146.0 points.
- 125: Cameron Mahlich – 7th-place – 3-2 record – won by forfeit over Jacob Dehart (Ohio Wesleyan), lost 5-0 to Andrew Perelka (John Carroll, Ohio), won 7-4 over Dajun Jones (Adrian), lost 9-3 to Rosendo Beltran (Defiance, Ohio), pinned Harrison Hadley (Heidelberg, Ohio) in 49 seconds.
