OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College women's lacrosse team dropped a 19-1 decision to Adrian College this afternoon at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Bulldogs led 15-0 at halftime.
  • Adrian added three more goals in the first 14 minutes and seven seconds of the second half.
  • The Comets scored their only goal with 12:17 left in the game when junior Sabrina Butler had an unassisted tally.
  • The Bulldogs netted their final goal with 1:22 remaining.

FOR THE COMETS

  • Butler had four draw controls and three ground balls.
  • Senior Keri Hettinger played all 60 minutes in the cage. She collected 16 saves to go along with a team-leading six ground balls.

FOR THE BULLDOGS

  • Gwyneth Brodbeck finished with a game-best five goals.
  • Annie Rice recorded a match-high nine points on a goal and eight assists.
  • Jenna Carter and Erika McDonald each had three goals and one assist for four points.
  • Mariesa Johnson tallied two goals.
  • Five other players scored one goal apiece.
  • Hannah Emerson was the winning keeper.
