MOUNT VERNON, Iowa – The Olivet College women's lacrosse team fell to Cornell College, 19-2, today at Ash Park Stadium in Mount Vernon, Iowa.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Rams raced out to a 9-0 lead.
- Olivet dented the scoreboard for the first time on a goal by junior Katie Ordiway, which was assisted by junior Krystin Verran.
- Cornell scored the final two goals of the opening half to take a 12-1 lead at the intermission.
- The Rams netted the first seven goals of the second half.
- The Comets scored the final goal of the game when sophomore Paige Harcourt found the back of the cage with just 58 seconds left.
FOR THE COMETS
- Olivet recorded 10 shots in the game, including two each for Harcourt and Verran.
- Junior Stephanie Robinson had a team-best four draw controls.
- In the goal, junior Keri Hettinger made 16 saves.
FOR THE RAMS
- Emily Whitfield tallied six points on four goals and two assists.
- Sydney Cooper registered five points on three goals and two assists. She also had a team-leading 10 shots.
- Hollie Force got the win in goal, collecting six saves.
